It was really just buchanan street and argyle street.... and argyle street has taken such a dive in the last 5-10 years that really only buchanan street survives as a commercial shopping district.
Most buildings are owned privately, and charge too high a rent to allow for re-gentrification or any grassroots movements. They're just biding their time, waiting to be compulsory purchased at the cost of the taxpayer and GCC planning can go in and bulldoze/redevelop. |
