That ship has already sailed. There's no way we can muster the man power at the current levels of the virus to do a track and trace system with the effectiveness of successful countries like New Zealand or South Korea.
Priority is no longer to wipe the virus out, the people have clearly demonstrated that we're simply incapable of such a feat and I'm sure if you've been out and about you know what I mean. The goal now seems to just slow it down until a vaccine can be distributed... a vaccine that half the population of the UK has said they won't take because they distrust it when doctor's say the need 90% of people to take it. |
