| Comment | These are all secondary effects, and incredibly difficult to quantify. Covid is real, and an unknown, so they're bumbling along the best they can. The economy could be fucked for 3 months until they find a vaccine, or it could take five years. Ten years. Nobody knows. But there are immediate deaths and long-term side effects from covid that are manageable now, so that's what a responsible government needs to do. |
