You can do all this stuff online, but the whole point of going to the physical place to play for many people is to meet up with some pals, which has become even more important in recent weeks.

My partner works in bingo and has always said that closing a bingo hall has a massive impact on the wellbeing of the community; especially on those who live alone. It's the same with the betting shops. You'll always find a group of middle age to old men in them that are regulars who go there to socialise.
