Funny how many people are so instantly sneering and judgemental about a successful Glasgow based business who will obviously be struggling right now. I assume you'd rather live in some sort of planned economy where innovation is handed over to the state and any opportunity for enterprise and success is crushed?
What the fuck does the fact the owner is a millionaire have to do with this story? Are you expecting the owner to pay their staff for doing nothing while pubs are closed and there is minimal government help? How long do you think a few million quid would last paying the amount of staff they have?
I assume you think toiling away relentlessly in a cut throat industry should come with no other reward than a wage to cover basic essentials and a strong sense of public service? |
