The thing is people can still go into non-essential shops. They can still go to cafes. Kids are still going to school with little to no measures in place. Uni students are still packed into halls.
Two weeks ago my girlfriend and I walked down Buchanan Street on a Saturday afternoon around 1/2pm and it was as if Covid hadn't even happened.
It's such a half arsed measure that I don't see it making that much of a difference. |
