there's a good chance that, like other coronavirii (e.g. the common cold) you'll get immunity to a specific strain, then the next year the one that comes around might be a different strain to which you're not immune, I think there's already 4 identified strains (but all identical symptomatically and in immune response)

this means herd immunity isn't a long-term strategy either

and it also means that if there is a vaccine, it may need to be regularly updated like the flu shot
