| Comment | It is sketchy, the rate of infection is now the same as it was when the hospitality sector was opened up again after the first lockdown so the government have put it down to that. They haven't taken into account universities and schools going back.The vast majority of new infections are people under 25 and anecdotally the student halls are rife with it. Like someone also said gyms and cafes being allowed to stay open as well.
The fella I replied to called their actions "shitty" (he's since edited the comment to appear a little more sympathetic). Fine not to agree but they are definitely not being "shitty". |
