| Comment | Really sorry to hear you put up with all that. I have heard retail or hospitality jobs can strain a person's faith in human nature. Even if most interactions are neutral it's human nature that we remember the jerks and "I demand to speak to the manager" types. It's not much consolation I know, but this internet stranger has been really grateful for everyone keeping things going during this hellish year - in my case pharmacists and supermarket delivery drivers, but if I was braving supermarkets in person no doubt I'd be really thankful for all the checkout staff, shelf stackers etc. I hope you are able to do a few self-care things and get some help during this time of being off work. |
