You can get a bus (Milngavie to Drymen I think) to Carbeth and walk up but it's a dangerous road- no footpath and fast cars going by. However I think you can take a path by one of the reservoirs and head up the back way from Carbeth, avoiding walking along the main road. Openstreetmaps is good for showing all the wee paths through the Kilpatricks. |
