Did it in the car on and off for 1.5 years. At one stage, the money was really good. They used to run promotions where, for example, if you did 8 deliveries in 3 hours you'd get £30 on top of your per delivery money. Would end up making like £60 in a few hours.

Nowadays the money is rubbish. Best time to deliver is when a surge is on but I was struggling to make more than £8 an hour at peak times (lunch /dinner) after petrol. Lots of time spent sitting waiting outside Mcds Trongate. There's also next to no support from Uber so don't expect any contact with them.

If you're absolutely desperate then sure, go for it. But it's definitely more of a filler job than a long term plan.
