| Comment | Pollok Park is in the Southside. If you want to get public transport there you can get off at Pollokshaws West and turn left (is it left? my direction is confused...) as you come out the station it is about a 30 sec walk from there. You can also cycle there from the West End on bike paths the whole way. It is a truly gorgeous park I'm lucky enough to live near to and has been my escape all through lockdown.
There is an estate house which has beautifully kept gardens and is open to the public (which is behind where this photo was taken), a big wooded area, lots of Highland Coos, a riverside walk, mountain bike tracks etc. |
