| Comment | "no reason" as in, there is no discernable reason to not have safe consumption rooms, the evidence is obvious and overwhelming, they save lives, do not cost a lot etc etc. Nobody is saying the cause of death isnt the drugs but that it could have been prevented.
The addicts around the city centre sucks, I live in the centre, 2 bikes stolen now and have had seen people shooting up in my close before, I would like nothing more than there to be none of them around, but the way for that to happen is very obviously through treating the addiction in an evidence based public health manner, treating it as a criminal manner is what has been happening so far and is very obviously not working |
