| Comment | It was the bit coming down the M8 eastbound, under Charing Cross after the tunnel, where it splits and you can go left to St George’s Road/bottom of Maryhill Road, or keep right and come on to the bottom of Great Western Road. We drove past once the fire was out - looked like a BMW 3 or 4 series and the front end was completely collapsed in. They must have been going very fast up the slip. There’s often cars stopped giving way to traffic on GWR and it’s a bit of a blind curve.
