When I was a kid we used to catch loads of wee frogs with a fishing net in the pond at Springburn Park. BUT...we lived in a multi-storey (8th floor) and my Mum wouldn't have them in the house.
Came home one day with a jam jar full which I was promptly told to put out on the balcony. Next morning they had all leapt through the railings to their splattery death 80 feet below. Must have been at least 50 of them.
I carry the guilt with me to this day. |
