I think it's because you openly talk about how you're different to the hive mind and the suggestion that everyone else is just going along with what they're told that makes you come across as arrogant.
It would be different if you'd put an argument forward and been jumped on, but instead you decided to carry on insulting everyone else in your initial comment.
