North Kelvinside is great and I lived there for 4 years.
I’d also suggest Alexandra Parade. It’s not near the subway line but you’ve got a few different trains (Alexandra Parade, Duke Street, Bellgrove) depending on where the flat is. It’s also close enough to walk in to town on a nice day.
