Comment | Archivist here - if you don't want it to fade at all, don't display it. Sunlight (even low levels) \*will\* damage it in the long run. If preservation is your main concern, store it in a melinex sleeve and keep it in a place where the temperature doesn't fluctuate too much.
If you'd rather risk a bit of degradation and be able to enjoy it, I'd recommend reaching out to the Framing Workshop and specifying that you want it framed with archival standard materials - but if they're going to do a decent job of making a bespoke frame, you'll have to give it up for a while. Anywhere that says they can do it same day is messing you. |
