One phone call is hardly text tennis.
Enough of me being pernickety though. That in itself didn't make the experience any better. It was, after all, a quirky, fun gimmick. What made the experience stand out from the other cocktail bars I've been to though was the fact the staff actually sat down and made an effort to know and understand what flavours we liked and how we liked our cocktails, then made the cocktails to our tastes based on what we'd told them (and didn't serve any of the watered down pish some other places tend to serve).
The service was just so much more personable compared to any other place I've been to (bar one). |
