| Comment | Thanks so much for this comment. I’ve heard mixed opinions about tenements - some people claim that in some buildings the soundproofing is actually superior to new builds but it depends. I’m in a new building now and the wall isn’t great either, so I’m really confused as to what I should be looking for when I finally am able to buy my own place so I don’t end up stressed out again.
I do realise there will always be some level of noise when you live in the block of flats - I’ve lived in many different ones, but the level of ‘living noise’ I’ve experienced here so far is just excessive. My Cathcart flat was just ridiculous - it felt like I was living with my downstairs neighbours... |
