| Comment | Yeah the other the other thing you have to consider is the amount of pressure people are possibly putting on the police to do something about it. "Like that van full of junkies is parked outside my flat and youse are doing fuck all about it" then they contact MPs MSPs, lawyers, make complaints against the police. Whilst the police can utilise discretion they need to be able to justify their decision making behind the use of discretion, that was possibly becoming untenable. |
