There’s been nothing published for a while.
Safe to say it’ll be rolled out to make up the deficit caused by covid (obvs with a million other cost making measures).
I’m in Shawlands and it’s crying out for it - most of the traffic is people using the cafes and gyms that don’t want to pay for parking so consequently it’s rammed 24/7.
It gets annoying when people park huge work vans on the roads too taking up 2+ spaces or cars with flat tyres perma-parked.
My neighbour bizarrely drove to work even though it was two streets away..... took longer to drive then walk. Never understood that. |
