I don’t see that as a mistake, it’s a time where politicians who are actually in power have to make decisions that directly affect the lives of millions of people. Not everyone will agree, not everyone will find their choices fair but the big picture is that they are trying to stop a pandemic and to avoid thousands of people dying in the meantime. That you like it or not really doesn’t matter.
