| Comment | And it's your choice to make, it's your life at the end of the day, whatever is going to get you through the day. It's a good thing they know how to use Skype too so at least there is a way of seeing each others facial expressions, something you can't do when you have a mask on.
All I would ask is that if things do get bad this winter and it comes to us all, we're all headed the same way, please go and see them in person. Don't say your goodbyes over a phone or over a webcam. So many people have passed away this year from many things and they've been separated from family members and loved ones and they were alone. And I would say that to everyone here if you have elderly relatives or family members that have serious health conditions, make sure you stay in touch, don't think you're being some great hero by staying away from them. You're not going to get any awards, you're not getting any thank yous from anyone, you're not gonna be thought of any more or less for doing it. Be with them in person if you can. |
