Ruchill Park sits just off the canal across from Murano. Cracking view of the city from the top of the flagpole.
For trail running (muddy stuff) Dawsholm Park is really great. If you stay on the Kelvin Walkway after Maryhill Locks it leads you into the park. Mugdock park is also lovely but busy at weekends.
