Strathbungo was a small village long before it merged with Shawlands and Govanhill.
All the property there is over 120 years old so not sure how you think it’s a name “invented by developers”? You’re talking rubbish and clearly have no knowledge of the area or Glasgow at all.
Strathbungo proper on the opposite side of the road to Queens Park is really affluent. The area where Strathbungo boarders Govanhill is less affluent but still a lot nicer than Govanhill.
