I'm a complete dog person, I've have had multiple of all sizes since I was 4 & I'm 26 now, same with my partner, we aint no novices.
But this was honestly ridiculous, the way she literally never even tried to do anything. I've have plenty run ins with a dog's off the lead but the owner always apologises & gets the dog quick smart.
If my partner wasn't with me, I'm completely certain either myself or my furbaby would have been badly injured & it was horrible for my partner because he had to be prepared to hurt the dog if it went that far - we are both experienced dog people & find any sort of violence or anything abhorrent, but I love my dog more than I love anyone else's & if it's a question between my dog or the other getting hurt, I know what I'm picking.
She's a terrible owner regardless but even more so for making that option even be on the table. |
