| Comment | I'm fine with them in and around the actual days, since you can at least prepare your pets. But when the half of October is random nights of fireworks you can't realistically keep your pets locked up for three weeks.
I'm okay with small 'displays' in peoples back gardens that don't last that long, but I've got a playing field near me and come Nov 5 every family queues up to set their own ones off. Today it lasted about an hour. Tomorrow it'll go on from the moment schools are out, to about 10pm.
At this time of year: 5th November and Diwali (14th November) are the only two days you should be have to prep your pets for.
