Thanks so much, she's perfectly fine she was just on edge & anxious for the rest of the night.

Her age honestly boggles my mind, she's regularly mistaken for a pup because she's so tiny but even her personality, attitude & health is pretty much the exact same as when she was a pup! My partner has had her since she was physically born, as his father owned her mother, so he's ridiculously attached to her, as is she with him.

We personally absolutely adore staffies & may possibly be getting one in future years so it really got to us both that we were put in the position of potentially having to hurt it to defend ourselves/furbaby because the stupid owner wouldn't do anything to control it. They're just too big & powerful to be off a lead if they don't listen because even when they are playing with you & being sweet, they can knock you off your feet very easily.

I hope you're Yorkie is okay! I know how scary it is when they get trampled, cause they're just so little but they always think they can take on anything - wee dog syndrome we call it! Like, other dogs can be genuinely wanting to play or whatever but she just wants to fight because she sees every dog bigger than her as a threat now. She has far too old for that to change so we just try our absolute best to remove her from any situation with another dog, but it's bloody difficult when it's a staffie wrapped around your legs trying to jump up you to get to her, with the owner doing anything & not even a collar on for you to grab.

She's been great with the fireworks the thankfully, we kind of swaddled her in a blanket & kept the tv up quite loud - I don't even think she noticed! 😊
