For some reason it won't load on my phone properly (possibly due to it being a pdf), but there is a report out there called 'Let Glasgow Flourish' which found that Glasgow's life expectancy for both men and women has improved over the past 30 years.

Neil Andrew's claims are pretty biased, as well as incorrect and heavily exaggerated. The fact is that Glasgow's most impoverished 10% have a significantly higher life expectany than the average sub-Saharan which makes his point completely moot.

Poverty in Glasgow (including housing, life expectancy, alcohol abuse and drug abuse) has been an issue for a long time - long before the SNP came into power and it can't be solved in a handful years.

I'm not part of the brigade that thinks the SNP is perfect, far from it (I actually vote Green), but it seems pointless to say they have a part in something that they don't. The SNP have had their failures but this isn't one of them.
