| Comment | I cycled through this bit twice a day for 2.5 years. Anniesland is fine, but it always felt a bit dodgy at Possil. There were quite often jakies sitting on the verge drinking.
The most dangerous thing I ever encountered on the canal was dogs though. I was cycling a good few hundred metres behind someone, when their small dog ran out of the bushes directly in front of me. I chose to fall off rather than kill the dog, and almost fell in the canal in the process. |
