My mum is one of the people who've benefited from the Connect Scotland funding. She was given a brand new iPad to keep to help her stay in touch with other people. She is struggling with it because she doesn't know the first thing about the internet but she's already made 5 facetime calls and her spirits are up already. It's been a great thing for her. A local support group want to set up zoom calls and online classes too. I think she's a bit overwhelmed by zoom though lol. |
