In 2018, it was reported that the Highlands had a population of 235,450 and Moray has a population of 95,520. There are more people live in Glasgow proper, than live in these two areas combined. Inverness (a city) only has just under 3000 more residents than Coatbridge (a town).


Nae wonder they're better at suppressing the virus when there's significantly less of them in a much, much bigger area.
