I had a crack at making my own way back in April. It was dead easy. Puff pastry and pineapple jam with a bit of lemon flavoured icing. Not exactly like the cheapo doughy ones you get, but close enough to satisfy my craving. They were a bit more like traditional Danish pastries you might get in a continental buffet.
