| Comment | We bought our flat in the gorbals 2 years ago and we're honestly so happy we did. The gorbals for sure used to be an absolute warzone back in the day but since living here we've never seen any blatant crime, gangs of bams or anything like what it used to be.
It's 5 minutes from town and there's a great wee community. With the addition of the new crown street retail park you don't have to go far to get anything you need.
There's bad folk everywhere but the gorbals isn't what it used to be and it's worth renting or even buying! You'll pay £120k+ for the same size flat in the southside or pay about half for the gorbals which is closer to town and has great links to the motorway,trains and buses!
