I live in an old 3 bed house wit barely any insualtion (that is changing slowly). We pay £90 a month for gas & leccy combined, and that's with both of us working from home.
Also keep in mind that gas will be for more than just ehating, it is also used to cook. _Also_ keep in mind that a modern, well serviced boiler with properly balanced radiators can be quite efficient.
