| Comment | North Kelvinside is generally very nice, it's where I live and I'm not sure exactly where Oban Court is but if it's off Oban Drive then that's a pretty good area, good amenities, not far from the main West End and lots of nice restaurants etc. You're also near https://northkelvinmeadow.com/ which is great for kids
As for North Woodside Rd, it depends which side of Maryhill Rd you're talking about. If to the west, then it's the same deal. If it's east of Maryhill Rd then that's not a great area; it's not terrible but quite deprived compared to North Kelvinside.
Generally speaking, Maryhill Rd is the dividing line between some quite nice areas and some quite rough ones; you want to be on the south/west side of it. |
