I was on 3 in the Southside and the service was dismal. I eventually phoned the complaints line and after about 3 hours on the phone a nice man in India explained that there was an issue with the tower in my area and they would never be able to achieve the claimed speeds.
I'm now using Vodafone which seems to work much better although only 4G.
