I wanted to write this. But do it well, not like in Edinburgh ;-)

And also: can we have buses with more than one pair of doors on them, with ticket machines located inside and a random ticket checks, as they have in civilised countries?

The buses are so slow, because every bus stop takes ages. And because of that it's nearly impossible to stick to timetable, as you never know how many people will need to get in and out at every stop. In Europe, the bus has three, four, or even five pairs of doors on bendy ones and exchange of passengers takes 10-30 seconds...

I briefly lived in Brno, and this is the best public transport system I've ever seen. I had my car with me and I was using it perhaps once in two weeks to go out of the town. A solid grid of trams, suplemented with trolleybuses and the abundance of bus lines filling the gaps. Frequent, regular services, on time. Vehicles maybe not the newest, but always clean and in good condition...

Here, I found a good youtube clip on that (it has English subtitles if you turn them on): [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W31zpTTKwIA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W31zpTTKwIA)
