The whole point of the question is the discrepancy between digital maps and the road sign. Sure, you'd think the sign has priority, but Google Maps would be much quicker to respond to any report that it was in error. If the sign happens to be the thing that it's in error, and anyone bothered to report it, it still wouldn't be suprising if it stayed in place for 100 years or more. |
