Online in Scotland is tough (ancestry doesn't hold good records) . I prefer (pre pandemic) to go to the Scotlands people offices in Edinburgh and do a full day of research for a flat fee. I think the Mitchell library had a section similar but Ive never used it. There is an online option but I believe you pay per search which is no good of you are cross referencing. I'd offer to help in person but who knows when this pandemic will end |
