| Comment | Pity you can’t lock your bike up anywhere in the city centre without junkies either cutting through the locks with bolt cutters, or pulling the wheels and saddle off. Plus there would appear to ‘friendly locals’ who think that it’s funny to jump on your wheels and leave them completely buckled.
Saw one poor girl who looked like a visitor to Glasgow a few weeks ago, having to drag her bike through the town centre, after a thief stole her front wheel in broad daylight.
Until the crime problem is addressed in the city centre, I would not recommend locking your bike up anywhere around Glasgow city centre. |
