Moved to cathcart a few months ago. I love it. Feel like I don't have the full picture of the place as everywhere is a bit strange during lockdown but it's a great part of the city.
Like the comment before me said, Linn park is amazing and you are a bawhair from queen's park as well. A lot of great places for food or coffee, hipster as fuck but hipsters make good coffee.
