| Comment | My wider point here and the thing that frustrates me more than anything is the continued demonisation of football fans, it has been going on since Thatcher was in power and manifests its self in different ways now but it's still prevalent.
You only have to look at the responses on here, people seem to think that football violence in this city is common and goes on week in and week out, hordes of football fans travelling the country trashing towns and cities when that just isn't true. Some roaster flinging a metal fence and some players getting abuse doesn't constitute a riot in anyones language, apart from this country. |
