Second vote for Kay’s in Anniesland - one of the last few honest garages out there. If it’s a German make, Deutschtek on Woodlands road are also good guys (I think they’d work on any car but are German specialists - it’s a small garage tho so you might wait a while if they’re busy as they can only take so many cars at once).
