pre 1919 tenements hold their value well, however always get a homebuyer survey done as they range in age from 100-nearly 200 years and many will need massively expensive repairs over the next couple of decades. depends how long you want to live in one though I suppose. Also all the new builds in the west end are totally shite "luxury" flats, many of which have issues with cladding.

in my own weird opinion the real sweet spot for housing in Glasgow is the 1920s-early 1950s council builds, avoid non-trad construction though. built solidly and often with better layouts and gardens than pre-1919 tenements. you don't get the high ceilings and walk-in kitchens though.
