All tenements are pretty different. I grew up in a corner tenement in the city centre. Massive living room. 2 big bedrooms fair size kitchen but tiny bathroom. Had 3 walk in cupboards in the Hall which were great but probably a waste of space and someone has probably since knocked through to the bathroom. Family member had a corner plot in the southside which had a massive kitchen & living room. Small bedrooms and a decent size bathroom.
Another friend in the southside had a bathroom so small your knees touched the wall when sat on the loo and I'm short! Always freezing!
We had a new build flat and it was always warm with the pensioners living underneath. |
