| Comment | The new version I work on just now uses 73 neighbourhoods that are derived from the 2003 electoral wards. All of them have single names (i.e. no "Yorkhill/Anderston"). I assume that google, similar to what I did in the original picture, uses the current electoral wards. They last changed in 2017 and have all between 20k-30k people living in them. Canal is the second least densely populated area and has hence no resemblance with any original neighbourhood.
The 2003 wards separate "Canal" into: Summerston, Milton, Ashfield, North Kelvin, Keppochhill. |
