| Comment | That's true. My concern is that nothing will happen unless the companies warm to the idea since the city council loves cosying up to the operators with "private partnerships". There's also the possibility that they will lobby against such proposals. If the council has any guts, though, they'll make use of last year's Transport Act and set up franchising. They have the public on their side. No one's defending First Bus. |
