| Comment | I used to visit a friend up in Possil once or twice a month a few years back, and never had any issue with anyone. There is one or two streets which \*look\* really bad, but I never saw anyone being anything other than polite and friendly, and there was always friendly chatter on the loaded busses headed up there, even among strangers.
Your mileage may vary, but in my experience, most of the time tales about a place are no more than that - just stories, exaggerated beyond reality - and the only people who tend to run in to trouble are the people who go in expecting or looking for it. |
